The Independent Inventor
The ZY Gearbox is invented and wholly owned by Yue Zheng.
Yue is an independent inventor and expert in mechanical engineering. At age 14 he was sent to a rural farm village in Mainland China in compliance with the Down to the Countryside Movement. Living under extreme poverty with no access to education, Yue fed himself by fixing tractors for locals in exchange for chickens and sheep. He taught himself math and physics by studying whatever textbook he could acquire. Despite the circumstances, he still managed to score highest in the district in the National College Entrance Exam, which became his ticket out of the Countryside Movement and back to the city.
Yue invented the ZY Gearbox technology shortly after college and ventured to Germany to conduct prototype testing. In 1993, a comprehensive prototype test on a ZY Gear reducer was performed at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces. Results showed a transmission efficiency of 0.986— a world record yet to be broken by any other gear product. Since then, multiple tests have been conducted at other institutions, each confirming the superior performance of the ZY Gear reducer. For more technical specifications, see Technology Overview.
Although his technology breakthroughs have been widely reported by mainstream media in several Asian regions, Yue chose to maintain his status as an independent inventor, and with it, the integrity of the intellectual property of ZY Gearbox. Yue personally financed the filing of 100+ patent applications world-wide for his numerous inventions, but the core technology of ZY Gearbox remains a trade secret that has not been disclosed in any patent, publication, or to any individual or entity. Yue wholly owns and controls the intellectual property of ZY Gearbox.
